Green Skills & Environmental awareness for Vocational Education: Presentation of the European Project “InkScape Innovators” in Istanbul!
The final dissemination event of the Erasmus+ KA210-VET project “InkScape Innovators – Merging Green Skills and Creativity in Vocational Education” with the participation of the Scientific Association for the Promotion of Educational Innovation (EEPEK) as project coordinator, was successfully held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The event was organised and hosted by Profilo Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.

The project brought together partners from Greece, Portugal and Türkiye with the aim of promoting green skills, environmental awareness, creativity and digital storytelling in Vocational Education and Training (VET).
As part of the event, a “Comic Gallery” exhibition was organised, showcasing the digital comics created by students who participated in the project. Students and teachers of the host school had the opportunity to browse the printed materials and explore the participants’ creative works, which combined themes of sustainability, green technologies and creative reinterpretations of literary works through digital storytelling and the art of comics.

During the event, 50 printed copies of the project's collective comic book were also presented. The publication includes the students’ creations from all partner countries. The book was professionally printed and will be distributed to the partner organisations for further dissemination activities at local and national level.
In addition, participants were given a guided tour of the school’s laboratories and facilities and had the opportunity to exchange views with the school's teachers. The final evaluation and coordination meeting of the project partners was also held, during which the project results and educational impact were reviewed, and discussions took place regarding the final dissemination activities and the completion of the project’s final report.
The InkScape Innovators project focused on integrating green skills, environmental awareness and creative digital tools into vocational education, strengthening both the technical and transversal skills of students through innovative pedagogical approaches.

The partnership headed by the Scientific Association for the Promotion of Educational Innovation (EEPEK) would like to thank all teachers, students and collaborating organisations who contributed to the successful implementation of the project and to the promotion of creativity, sustainability and European cooperation in education.
This project has been funded with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
